This website is operated by JFR Film. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to JFR Film.
By placing an order you are agreeing to the terms & conditions that are stated below. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Warranty
Every item listed on our website has been tested and is working according to the description. However, in the event that something does go wrong, all of our products come with a 30-day warranty. It is the buyer's responsibility to check the camera within 30 days to ensure they are happy with it's condition.
The warranty does not cover misuse or accidental damage. Any work carried out by a 3rd party which includes, but is not limited to, the customer themselves or another repair shop will immediately void the warranty.
The warranty provided with our products applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It does not cover items sold or transferred to subsequent owners.
JFR Film will not be liable for the cost of any other repair completed by a third party unless it has been expressly confirmed in writing.

Order Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any order that is placed with us. This may for any reason including stock miscalculations, an issue with the item, being unable to ship to your location or there has been a risk of fraud flagged up. If this is the case you will be notified and receive a full refund.
If you would like to cancel an order that you have placed, but has not yet been dispatched, please only contact us via our contact form to ensure that your message is seen before the item is dispatched. If another method of contact is used by the customer we accept no responsibility for any costs incurred for returning the order.
Postage and Delivery
International deliveries: All international orders are dispatched via a Royal Mail Tracked service. Due to the pandemic and Brexit, international delivery times can sometimes be affected. Your order should arrive within 1 and 4 weeks of dispatch. If you have not received your order within 31 days, please get in touch.
Please note: International deliveries may incur import charges and taxes, it is buyer's responsibility to cover this cost. If you do not pay the import charge and the item is returned you will not be refunded the cost of shipping and any processing fees.
Liability
JFR Film is not liable to give any compensation other than a refund for item(s) purchased.
Terms & Conditions for Repairs/Refurbishments
By agreeing to a repair or refurbishment you are agreeing to the terms & conditions set out in this document.
Any communication between the customer and JFR Film will be recorded for the purpose of recording any business transactions.
JFR Film will be responsible for the camera up until the point of being returned to the customer. The camera will be insured up to a maximum of the current second hand value.
JFR Film will not liable for any other items or accessories that are sent with the camera. This may include, but is not limited to, film that is loaded in the camera.
Cost of work
An estimation will be provided for the repair or refurbishment before any work commences.
If work has started and is subsequently cancelled by the customer they may be subject to a cancellation fee determined by JFR Film based on the work that has already been completed.
The estimated cost of work is subject to change, once work begins more issues may be revealed that may increase the cost.
A revised quote will be provided, the customer will be required to agree before work continues.
If the revised quote is not accepted, the customer they may be subject to a cancellation fee determined by JFR Film based on the work that has already been completed.
If the revised quote is not accepted within 28 days the item may be disposed of or the customer may be required to pay a storage fee.
JFR Film accepts no liability for the re-assembly of a camera that has been dismantled for the purpose of inspection.
Once the work has been completed the customer is obligated to pay the full value of the invoice before the camera is returned.
If the invoice is not paid within 45 days of being issued JFR Film is entitled to sell any goods to recover the cost of repairs.
Turnaround time
An estimated turnaround time for the repair or refurbishment will be provided to the customer before work commences.
This is only an estimation and may be subject to change.
JFR Film is not responsible for any loss to the customer as a result of not meeting the estimated turnaround time.
Not meeting the estimated turn around time does not entitle the customer to a cancellation or a reduction in cost.
Warranty
All repairs come with a 60 day warranty starting from the date the work is completed. The warranty only extends to the part of the camera that was repaired. The warranty provided applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It does not cover items sold or transferred to subsequent owners.
Customers are responsible for checking the function of the camera within this period. Not using the camera will not result in a extension of the warranty.
