Canon Sure Shot A1

The weak point of this cameras is the film door latch which degrades over time and can eventually break. This can mean the film door will either be difficult to close or not stay closed at all, rendering the camera useless!

Cost = £15 for the part + labour (£20)

We have a stock of 3D printed film door latches that can be fitted as a replacement

Please note we are unable to complete any repairs on water damaged cameras due to a lack of spare electronic parts. We recommend that all users consider their Canon Sure Shot A1 as a water resistant camera rather than an underwater film camera due to the age of the seals.
